Supplementary Provisions of Privacy Policy (GDPR)

I. Preface

Since you are a resident of European Union and enjoy the protections provided by regulations of EU, in addition to the rights and interests already stated in our Privacy Policy, we shall also inform you of the following policies while collecting your personal information pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). All terms in this document shall be supplementary to our main Privacy Policy and shall form part of our Privacy Policy. Please read the terms below carefully.

II. The scope of personal information:

Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

In addition to the rights stated in our main Privacy Policy, you also enjoy the following rights under GDPR:

  • (a) You can refuse your personal data being used pursuant to public interest or legitimate interests pursued by the Company or third parties, unless there are legitimate grounds for us to process your data for legal claims reasons..
  • (b) You have the right to opt-out of processing data for marketing purposes at any time.
  • (c) You can also refuse your data being process by automated means. We may not comply with your request of opting out of automated decision-making and profiling of your personal data if it is necessary for entering and performing the contract between you and us, or is authorized by EU regulations or Member State law.

2. Right to Erasure:
You have the right to request your personal data to be deleted when the data is no longer needed for the purposes they are collected or being processed, when you retract your consent, when the personal data is being processed unlawfully, or when it is required by EU regulations or Member State law. We may refuse your request to erasure for the following situations:

  • (a) For compliance to EU regulations or Member States law.
  • (b) For public interests of public health.
  • (c) For scientific or historical research purposes.
  • (d) Necessary for legal rights and actions.

3. Right to Retract Consent
You may retract your consent relating to your personal data at any time, but it will not affect the lawfulness of processing the data based on the consent before your withdrawal.

4. Right to Request Transmitting Your Personal Data to Another Data Controller
If it is technically feasible, you may request us to transmit your personal data to another data controller directly in a commonly-used and machine-readable format.

5. Right to Restrict Processing of Your Personal Data
You may restrict us to process your personal information for the following situations:

  • (a) During the period for us to verify your personal data when you have doubts concerning the accuracy of your personal data and request verification.
  • (b) If the processing is unlawful and you oppose to the erasure of you data and request the restriction of the use instead.
  • (c) If the data is no longer needed for the purpose of processing, but is still required by you for legal claims reasons.
  • (d) During the verification period for us to verify the grounds of public interests and legitimate interests pursued by the Company or third parties to override your requests of objecting the processing of your data.

6. Right to Lodge a Complaint to a Supervisory Authority
If you have any dissatisfactions regarding your rights under GDPR, you can contact the supervisory authorities in the EU or Member States and lodge a complaint.

7. Requesting your Rights under GDPR

  • (a) For your requests of your rights pursuant to your personal data, please contact us through the contact and methods we provided in Section VI “Contact Us”.
  • (b) If we have reasonable doubts regarding your identity when receiving your requests, we may ask for additional information necessary to confirm your identity.
  • (c) We may refuse to act on your requests or charge a reasonable administrative fee if your requests are unfounded, excessive or repetitive.

IV. Minors' Use of Website and Goods or Services

The Company's website and goods or services are not intended for individuals under the age of twenty (20). The Company will not take the initiative to collect personal information of individuals under the age of 20.

V. Response Period

Once we receive your requests regarding your personal data, after your request and identity is verified, we will take action to your requests within 1 month (may be extended to 3 months if necessary, and we will inform you of the extension within 1 month.).
